Stories say that a woman once hanged herself at this bridge long ago, and according to Urban Legend, if you park your car on the bridge at night and turn off the lights, you will see her shadow on the side of the bridge.

This was forever ago, probably 2009 or 10. It wasn’t late but it was already dark cuz it was winter.. Me and a buddy were crossing the bridge at or slightly over the speed limit going towards Middleton and saw an oblong cloud at the very end of the bridge with a perfect oval shape hovering in the top truss. We watched it go straight down and then disperse on the gravel bank to the left.
10-20 yards after we took the right turn, there was a flash of light coming from the truck bed that completely lit up the cab. He slammed the brakes and we looked back and saw no cars or lights coming from the houses on the hill there. Didn’t even remotely resemble a car/truck’s headlights. More like if a flash of lightning had struck the back of the truck, but it was the middle of winter.
Can’t say for sure if it was paranormal. Just a really, really bizarre experience.

The photo isn't of the actual bridge that's haunted in Caldwell Idaho. My experience started on a warm summer night around 11:30 pm I made my way to the bridge with my family and friends. The headlights of our car beamed towards the bridge. It was a peaceful night with the bridge sitting right in front of us. The haunting didn't start until we shut off the lights. After exiting the car we could hear a woman yelling for help. The voice came from the bridge but we couldn't find anyone on or near the bridge that needed assistance. We took some pictures and called 911 just in case but the operator said they get that a lot and nothing is ever found. She ended up sending an officer out but nothing was found. After getting home we reviewed the photos and several of the photos had fog lurking around us on the bridge. While we were on the bridge taking photos it was clear out. Every time we had our flashlights or car lights on no fog was visible. I'm going to be making a video on this location in the future. I can't wait to see what spooky stuff happens while making the video.

This is not the same bridge. It's the same type of bridge, but the pictures provided are not located in Caldwell, Idaho. I live in Caldwell, Idaho, and have heard many stories about this bridge. My husband's friend died here about 25 years ago of drowning. There are other haunting stories, and it is a creepy place to visit, especially at the right time of year.
